Apply to be an Adoptive or Foster Resource

We always need great adoptive homes. If you would like to be considered as an adoptive resource, please fill out this form and submit it to us. We will contact you if your home seems suitable for an animal of the type you express interest in and one becomes available.

There aren’t really “wrong answers,” so just please be honest and let us know about your interests and capabilities. For example, if you do not have an enclosure, but are willing to get one, L.E.A.R.N. will be happy to help guide you as to what you need and where you can purchase those items. Another example would be that if you lost an animal in the past to an accident or illness, but you learned from that experience, we can take that into account.

All we are looking for are caring people who will take a little time to research what their new pet needs, and has the resources to make sure it is taken care of. Note that we are looking for people that want to make a commitment to their new family member, and not simply acquiring an exotic pet on a whim or as a gift for someone else or who will give it away the next time they move.

If you have any questions about this application, you may text or email our adoption coordinator. Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue, and feel free to let others know about our need for great homes!
If you are either primarily interested in or only interested in certain species, please list them here.
Please mention what animals you have or have kept in the past, and what happened to them if you no longer own them. Just be honest, there aren't any wrong answers. The more detail, such as how they are/were housed and what they were fed, the better. We are trying to get to know you here.
L.E.A.R.N. strongly advocates for exotic animal owners owning actual printed care guides.
If you currently have occupied enclosures, describe those. If you have an enclosure ready to receive a new animal, also describe that.
